Description | ELGAM CAROUSEL vintage synth and groove machine was manufactured in 1976 by the Italian organ manufacturer ELGAM. The unit is a unique, exotic and rare rhythm device with integrated automatic accompaniment. You could say an analogous "Groovebox" of the 70s. There are 15 rhythms that can be varied. It features 3 different arpeggiators - adjustable in DECAY and VOLUME. Bass can be added and varied. In addition, 3 polyphonic chord patterns are available as well. Each range can be independently controlled in volume (drums, bass, chords, arpeggiator). There is an output and DIN connector on the rear. Lovers of uncommon, interesting vintage grooves and sounds get their money's worth here. Hourlong groove fun with this technical wonder is guaranteed! |

As with a piano, the harder you hit a key, the louder the sound, unlike most organs which always produce the same loudness no matter how hard you hit a key. |
Aftertouch |
Pressing a key after you activated it. Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel. |
Values for OSC, LFO, Filter, Envelope are per voice unless stated otherwise. |
