Unprecedented Polyphony E-mu Systems is the only company in the world that offers 128 voice polyphony, so don't settle for half an orchestra. Every sound is heard and decays exactly as designed; note rip-off is a thing of the past! Loaded with Features The E4X Turbo comes fully equipped, featuring standard 128 voice polyphony, 16 MB RAM (expandable to 128 MB via 72 pin SIMMS), a 1 GB hard drive loaded with over 400 MB of sounds and three additional CD ROMs. The E4X comes with 4 MB of RAM and 64 voices that can easily be upgraded to 128 voices via our 64 Voice Hardware Option Card. In addition to the synthesis capabilities, both samplers support analog and digital sampling/re-sampling, a 16-track sequencer with standard MIDI file playback, Stereo Time Compression with tempo based phase lock and Graphical Waveform editing. EOS 2.5 Software Both the E4X Turbo and the E4X run the new EOS (Emulator Operating System) Version 2.5 software which includes a new enhanced SCSI subsystem and full Sysex implementation for remote control by either Macintosh or PC. Sampling made fast and easy These powerful samplers make sampling fast and easy by automating numerous tasks. Connect a microphone, press "sample" and the EOS software will automatically truncate, loop, normalize and place your sample into a preset.
