Crumar | Bit MMK |
|
Description | The Bit MMK, a Master Keyboard with truly phenomenal features. It was produced by LEM in 1986 on the design of the original Crumar MMK. It is equipped with "midi in" for control from an external remote and two independent midi outs that can control up to 16 midi units. Data sent and received relates to synchronization, notes, parameters, response to touch, etc. Those on the after touch response can be easily converted to Controller "pitch bending" and "modulation wheel". For each sound program it corresponds to a midi channel that transmits note data or "controllers". There is the ability to send midi data received at "midi in" to the two "midi out" direct or mixed with internally generated programs. The keyboard is six-octave weighted with after touch adjustable in six different levels of sensitivity. The same can be subdivided into three freely programmable zones by means of two split points. Each zone transmits midi note signals to a different channel. The zones, in addition to being programmable, can be superimposed on any number of notes. There are 64 "patches" of memory to store settings. In addition to this internal memory there is the cassette interface to further expand its "patches" library. The internal "sequencer" can store up to 4050 real-time notes or step-by-step music programming. The maximum number of sequences is eight. The eight sequences can be changed, so that they can become songs. It is also possible to correct any recording errors in "step mode" mode. |

Velocity | As with a piano, the harder you hit a key, the louder the sound, unlike most organs which always produce the same loudness no matter how hard you hit a key. | Aftertouch | Pressing a key after you activated it. Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel. |
Values for OSC, LFO, Filter, Envelope are per voice unless stated otherwise. |
