Baldwin | Syntha-sound |
Description | Gretsch & Baldwin Syntha Sound Analog #Synthesizer was produced in 1973 as a competitive model to Moog's Minimoog keyboard. While nothing like it, it does offer some features the Moog didn't have such as presets and modulation controller bars. Otherwise, the one oscillator mono synth is said to sound somewhat toy-like and was not in large numbers, making it a rarity today. |

Velocity | As with a piano, the harder you hit a key, the louder the sound, unlike most organs which always produce the same loudness no matter how hard you hit a key. | Aftertouch | Pressing a key after you activated it. Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel. |
